It's tedious work recording calories in a log! But I think it paid off this week. I was expecting the scale to show me something less than 212 since I weighed that on Monday - but then when I look at the big picture and realize I went from 217 to 212 in a week, I am more than thankful. My waist showed improvement this week going from 37.5 inches to 37 inches. I even had a pair of size 16 capri's in my closet that I had bought as "motivation pants" after Kai was born and they fit!
I'll continue the counting calories thing to make sure that I am getting enough. It feels like I am eating ALL DAY LONG. But they are smaller meals so I am really having to hold back on favorite things. Last night was macaroni and cheese. I could have eaten the entire box. It was hard to refrain from more than one normal sized helping.
